Energy Healing & Relaxation Massage

Reiki is a natural, simple, safe, effective healing system that uses spiritually guided universal energy, the energy which permeates our entire universe and all living things. This energy is channeled through the hands of the practitioner into the body and aura of the receiver. It is an ancient healing system that has been used for thousands of years and was rediscovered by Mikao Usui.

Reiki is a Japanese term meaning universal energy because it is the divine consciousness, the All-knowing that guides this life force. Because of this, Reiki can also be sent to someone who is not physically present, this is called distance healing. It can also be used on animals and plants.

During a session, the person receiving Reiki lies or sits, fully clothed, while the practitioner places their hands lightly on or a few inches over the person's head and body.  Healing crystals, soothing music and sometimes candles will be used to enhance the relaxing environment.

Reiki opens the mind and spirit to the causes of disease and pain and the necessity for taking responsibility for one's life. Reiki heals on a holistic level, helping the body return to its natural state of wellness. It increases spiritual awareness and is a means for each person to access the richness of their soul ~ to discover one's greatest potentials. Reiki is not tied to any religion or system of beliefs.  It is Universal ~ Universal Love.

Sessions are offered at 45, 60 and 90 minute lengths. 

I took Reiki courses in person and by correspondence, and proudly became a Reiki Master in June of 2005.  Since that time, I've studied many other energy healing modalities but Reiki has always remained dear to my heart.  I love to facilitate Reiki sessions and am VERY proud to soon be teaching a Reiki Master Course, including a full and complete manual I've written myself! Yes, I guess I finally wrote that book - my guides have been at me for years to do this!! :) 

Reiki Master Course

I not only offer sessions in Reiki but coming very and coming soon a complete Reiki Master course - available in two options: in person (5 days) or correspondence (no time limit, but suggested completion within 6 months).  This course includes a complete manual and Master attunement.  Either option also requires completion of assignments, case studies, and a final essay and exam.  Upon completion, you will receive a beautiful certificate for framing and full ongoing support.  It is also strongly suggested you attend my Energy Intuitive shares a minimum of 5 times.  More details to follow.
